Geovo driving, routes with stops and saved trips
Drive along real roads at each road's speed, pause or change speed mid-trip, wait at each stop, save trips and send them to your iPhone over the cable.
Geovo can move your iPhone along real roads instead of jumping from place to place. Everything here works on the computer and on the iPhone, except where it says otherwise.
Drive here
- Pick a place on the map or search for it. You can also paste coordinates or a Google Maps or Apple Maps link into search.
- Tap Drive here. Your iPhone travels there along real roads, at each road's typical speed.
- On the computer, choose a driving style: Calm, Normal or Lively.
While you drive
- The trip bar shows the distance and time left.
- Tap Pause to stop where you are, and Resume to carry on.
- Change the speed mid-trip: Geovo continues from the current spot at the new speed.
Routes with stops
- Open the route planner (Route on the computer) and add your stops on the map. Or paste a Google Maps or Apple Maps directions link into search (new in 0.4.0): Geovo makes the route with all its stops in one step.
- On the computer, choose how long to wait at each stop, from 30 seconds to an hour.
- On the iPhone, set one wait for every stop, or use the per-stop waits from a saved trip.
Saved trips
Use Save trip to keep a route with its stops, and run it again later from the route planner, on the computer or the iPhone.
Send to iPhone
Planned your places and trips on the computer? Plug in the iPhone and open Favorites › Send to iPhone. Geovo copies your favorite places and saved trips into Geovo on the iPhone over the USB cable; nothing goes over the internet. They appear the next time you open Geovo on the iPhone.

Stop or Return to Real Location ends a drive or route at any time. See how to go back to your real location.
