Is there a completely free iPhone location changer?

Yes, but each free option has a catch. Xcode is free and official but needs a Mac and an app project. 3uTools' Virtual Location comes with a free download but sets one point at a time. Geovo is free for 30 minutes every day with every feature. Most other tools offer a limited trial.

Is Xcode a free location changer?

Xcode is free from Apple and can simulate a location on a real iPhone, but it's a developer tool, not a location changer for everyday use. You need a Mac, an app project that you run from Xcode, and Developer Mode on the iPhone. Routes come from GPX files with waypoints; there's no map search or joystick.

Is 3uTools' Virtual Location free?

3uTools is a free download for Windows and Mac, and its official site lists no price for it. Virtual Location, in the Toolbox, sets your iPhone to one point you enter as latitude and longitude, and "Restore true location" or a reboot puts it back. It doesn't list routes, a joystick, GPX or an on-phone mode.

What do free trials of paid apps include?

Paid tools usually offer a trial rather than an ongoing free plan. As of October 2026, AnyTo's site says its free trial limits teleport use and joystick time; iAnyGo advertises a free trial without clearly listing the limits; Vanish offers a free start without a card. Check each vendor's page before relying on a trial.

Are there hidden costs with "free" location changers?

The usual hidden costs are time and setup rather than money. Every no-jailbreak method needs a computer at least once. On Windows you need Apple's driver, which comes with iTunes from apple.com. Apps installed with a free Apple ID, like Geovo's iPhone app, need renewing every 7 days from the computer.
