Using Geovo on cellular and in Airplane Mode
Start Geovo on Wi-Fi once, then it keeps your simulated location on cellular, on the subway, and even in Airplane Mode.
Geovo works on cellular and in Airplane Mode. The only catch is the first connection after you start the helper.
Why Wi-Fi first
iOS lets the helper's first connection through reliably on Wi-Fi. On some carriers, the very first connection over cellular gets stuck.
The simple routine
- On Wi-Fi, open Geovo and start your teleport or route.
- When Geovo shows Simulating, you're set. Leave Wi-Fi, switch to cellular, go underground, or turn on Airplane Mode.
No Wi-Fi around?
Turn Cellular Data off for a moment in Control Center, tap Retry in Geovo, and turn it back on once Geovo shows Simulating.
If the connection drops
Geovo notices network changes and reconnects by itself, restoring your location automatically. If it shows Reconnecting for a long time, repeat the routine above.
